Is this invoice generator really free?
Yes - completely free with no signup. Generate as many invoices as you need. Download as PDF using your browser's print function. You can also upload a photo of an existing invoice and our AI will extract the details automatically, or paste your invoice text and let AI fill in the form.
Can I upload a photo of my invoice and have AI fill it in?
Yes. Click the upload area to upload a photo or screenshot of an existing invoice. Our AI will extract the company name, client details, line items, dates, and amounts - then fill in the form for you to review and edit before generating. You get 5 free scans per day.
Can I turn a quote into an invoice?
Yes. If you generated a quote with our free quote generator, the invoice is pre-filled with the same amount and client details automatically.
Does the invoice include VAT?
Tax is calculated at 20% by default. Toggle the "Include tax" checkbox in document settings to show or hide tax entirely. You can change the rate and name when enabled. Adjust line item rates to work ex-VAT or inc-VAT as needed.
Can I use different currencies?
Yes. The currency selector in the document settings bar supports GBP, USD, EUR, AUD, CAD, and NZD. All amounts in the form and the generated invoice will use the selected currency symbol.
