Two assistants, two jobs - which one you're talking to and what each is for.
Q vs the Smart Assistant
QuoteCore+ has two assistants. They look similar but do different jobs:
| Q | Smart Assistant | |
|---|---|---|
| Where | Main website and inside the app | Inside the app (paid plans) |
| Cost | Free | Included with your paid plan |
| Job | Guides you through the app and its features | Works on your actual workspace data |
| Example | "How do I add a waste percentage?" | "What was the total on the Acacia Avenue quote?" |
| Access to your data | No - general app help | Yes - the quotes, invoices and orders you're authorised to see |
Use Q when
You're learning the app: where a setting lives, what a feature does, what a term means. Q can also switch to Guide Me mode and walk you through a task step by step, pointing at the exact control to click.
Use the Smart Assistant when
You want work done on your workspace: finding a quote, checking a total, seeing what needs attention today, or driving a multi-step job like a draft from start to finish.
The one-line version
Q tells you how the app works. The Smart Assistant works your app.
Q has its own page: Meet Q.
